Consistent quality always

I've bought from Ziba Foods a few times now, mainly their Wild Pistachios and the Dried White Mulberries. This last order was just as good as the first ones I placed months ago. The pistachios always have that unique flavor you don't find in regular stores. And the mulberries are consistently soft and chewy. It's nice to know what you're getting, and they've always delivered on time for me. That reliability is why I keep coming back.

Good quality, quick delivery

I ordered a bag of their Shakhurbai Almonds and some Kishmish Raisins. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. I got a confirmation email right away. They arrived in about four days, which was faster than I expected, especially since I didn't pay for expedited shipping. The almonds were really fresh and had a nice crunch. The raisins were plump and not too sweet. Everything was well-packaged. I had a question about storage so I used their contact form, and customer service got back to me within a day with a helpful response. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish.

Decent nuts, slow website

I tried the Heirloom Trail Mix and a bag of their Dried Figs. The trail mix had a good variety and everything tasted fresh, especially the different nuts. The figs were also soft and flavorful, not dry like some others I've had. My main gripe was the website was a little slow to load pages sometimes, which made browsing a bit frustrating. Shipping was free for my order over $50, and it took about a week to get here. The packaging was fine, nothing fancy but it protected the products. Good value for the quality, just wish the site was snappier.

What's the deal with shipping times? I'm in NYC and kinda need some dried mulberries for a recipe this weekend.

From my experience, they're pretty quick. I'm in New Jersey and usually get my orders in 3-5 business days. You might make it!

Yeah, I think it depends on the shipping option you pick at checkout. I always go for the standard free one (over $50) and it's never been super slow for me, usually under a week.

Anyone know if you can get a discount for your first order? I'm thinking of trying them out but wanna save a few bucks.

C Chloe Perez 2 weeks ago
Yep, there's usually a pop-up on their site for a first-time buyer discount if you sign up for their emails. I got 10% off last time.

Definitely sign up for the newsletter, that's how I got mine. It's usually 10-15% off.

are their products organic? trying to eat cleaner.

J James Anderson 4 days ago
They're not all certified organic, but they do say they work with small farms and use sustainable methods. I think they focus more on heirloom and wild-grown stuff.

Some of their products might be, but it's not their main thing. They highlight 'wild-grown' and 'heirloom' which can be even better than just organic sometimes because it's less processed or cultivated.

How do these compare to Nuts.com? I usually buy from them but Ziba's heirloom nuts sound interesting.

A Adam 1 month ago
Ziba's stuff feels a lot more 'special' if that makes sense. Nuts.com is good for everyday, but Ziba's quality, especially the almonds and pistachios, is a step up. You pay a bit more but it's worth it.

Honestly, it's a different vibe. Ziba focuses on those unique varieties and sourcing, while Nuts.com has everything under the sun. If you want something really distinct and premium, go Ziba. For bulk everyday, Nuts.com might be cheaper.

Do they do free shipping always, or only sometimes? Thinking of ordering a bunch of stuff.

T Thomas Robinson 2 weeks ago
It's free shipping if your order is over 50 bucks. That's usually pretty easy to hit with a few bags of nuts.

I think it's always free shipping once you hit a certain amount, yeah. I've never paid for shipping when my order was decent sized.
